Too bad Volvo never brought this one back...it's a great looker. This particular one's color scheme is one of my all-time favorites...I'm sure the production numbers were very low on this car...'never see one in traffic - 'guess they're all in climate-controlled collections. Volvo managed to shed it's stogey taxi-cab personality (mostly) some years ago with more stylish body work...for a long time, though...Volvo was just about the ugliest car around, unless it was parked next to a SAAB...

This little out-of-character number was proof that Volvo DID have some sexy, sporty, stylish genes in its DNA.

many years ago..these old dozers just had a cable..that killed the engine..most drivers, would reset the cable, after killing the engine..truck driver hauling one, in cali...had to stop real quick..he didnt have chains on dozer..and the forward surge of the truck having to stop quick..restarted the engine..and dozer ran over the top of the pete..killing the driver...it then ran almost 2 miles, on hwy 58.in cali...before anyone could get onboard to stop it

i used to drive a 56...in los angeles,cal...doing ltl pick ups...no power steering and a 5x4 tranny..and a 262 cummins......great job restoring this truck...
